PHILOSOPHY
About Me
With a distinguished culinary career spanning 40 years in New York City, Chef Matthew, FMP, CEC, CCE, has served as a sous chef, chef and executive chef .
He has worked as a regional executive chef of the major food service company for more than 10 years, remaining faithful to his idea of presenting creative dishes, focused on plant-based cuisine for better health outcomes.
Chef Matthew worked as a showman in the International Restaurant Foodservice show at the Javits Center for 5 years, showcasing healthier food alternatives. Aware that the addition of good eating habits are critical points for our communities, he has focused on providing food centered education to students, parents, impact patients and organizations that support the B-Blossom philosophy.
Chef Matthew has worked with the American Heart Association on Heart Healthy Choices and collaborated with the American Diabetes Foundation on Healthy Cooking Techniques. His recipes include a variety of vegan and seasonal menus reinventing the traditional food paradigm without losing its essence.
